Nine new countries with visa-free trial to China

China announces: Visa-free trial for Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland and five other countries.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated that to further facilitate exchanges between China and foreign nationals, China has decided to expand the list of visa-free countries. Starting from November 8, 2024, citizens of Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, and South Korea holding ordinary passports will be eligible for a trial visa-free policy. Between now and December 31, 2025, citizens from these nine countries can enter China for business, tourism, family visits, and transit for up to 15 days without a visa.
